Ribalta Pizza

The lunch is a little pricey but I never regret ordering. the food is always just delicious beyond words. When I want a good meal, Ribalta always come to mind. The chocolate ckae is heaven on earth.

Ribalta was already my favorite pizza place in NYC because they focus on everything I love about Italy: fresh ingredients of the highest quality, served by people who love food.

The food is outstanding; underrated by critics because the restaurant is small, unassuming. However, this is one of the best restaurants in Greenwich Village. Especially if you have ever dined in Italy.

I always liked Ribalta, but tonight made me love them more... The SEAMLESS website was not working correctly. When we ordered our pizza it said 2 - 3 hours before delivery. Ribalta is .4 miles from my apt. I called and said "Thanks, we love your pizza, but 2 hours is too long, I'll order again when you are not as busy." I was asked to hold, a moment later, the manager got on the phone and said,"Thank you for your business, we are having trouble with Seamless, would you please give me 30 minutes to make good on your order?" I said, "Of Course." So.... My order arrived 15 MINUTES after I spoke to the manager!!! OF course the pizza was amazing, as usual!

I do not know who owns Ribalta, but I work in Marketing. The fact that the receptionist was empowered enough to ask the manager (or owner) to get on the phone with me and then took me seriously enough to LISTEN to me and ask if it would be ok to fire the pizza if it arrived within 30 minutes, will make me a fan for life. Though I would have waited longer because I FELT HEARD AS A CUSTOMER. The pizza was delivered within 15 minutes of the call! The way I was treated by Ribalta staff will stay with me forever. This restaurant delivers 5 star service to SEAMLESS customers and even better service to the customers who walk through the door. Ribalta IS Italy in NYC. Less is more, and everyone is family.

Best Italian in the neighborhood. Wish portions were a bit bigger but hey, it's only because the food is that damn good. My favorites are the spaghetti pomodoro, the gnocchi with pesto and the zucchini appetizer.

They delivered 2/3 items incorrectly, but were very quick to remedy the problem. Great service, great food.

We've taken 6 pizzas form Ribalta, delicious! Real Napolitan pizza (we're italian, you can trust us).
